An incoming call rings each household member’s phone. Whoever is nearest picks up.
Shared voicemail
One voicemail box for the household, with a readable transcript where it is available.
One shared text inbox
A single conversation per contact, visible to everyone in the household, so nobody has to forward screenshots.
Verification codes, front and centre
When a text contains a one-time code, it is shown large with a copy button and hides itself after a few minutes.
iPhone, Android and web
Push notifications so a call or code reaches a locked phone.
What Loxti Home is not
We would rather be clear now than surprise you later.
- No outbound calls at launch. Loxti Home receives calls and texts and shows codes; it does not place calls.
- Not for emergencies. Loxti Home does not support 911. Dial emergency numbers from your mobile phone.
- It does not read texts sent to your existing mobile number. To use it for a shared account, change the phone number on that account to your household number.
- Some services, such as certain banks and streaming apps, do not send codes to non-mobile numbers. We are testing the popular ones and will tell you plainly which work before you rely on it.
- For households (couples and families), not businesses or roommates. For a business line, see the Loxti business plans.
- New numbers only at launch. Bringing your current number to Loxti Home comes later.

Questions
- When is it available?
- Not yet. Loxti Home is in development. Join the waitlist and we will email you when it opens, with the price.
- Is it a real phone number?
- It is a regular US phone number that works over the internet through the Loxti app, not a SIM card in a phone.
- Can I use it for two-factor codes?
- That is the main idea: put the household number on a shared account and the code reaches everyone. It depends on the service accepting the number, and some do not. We will publish what we have tested.
- Who can see the texts and codes?
- Everyone in the household can see the shared inbox. That is the point. Do not use it for anything you want to keep from the people you invite.
- Can I keep my current number?
- Not at launch. Moving an existing landline or mobile number in is on our list for later.
- How much will it cost?
- One simple monthly price per household. We will announce it at launch.
